Dr. Rex Huang is a nephrologist with a background in medical education and medical research. After completing his MBBS (Hons) at the University of Melbourne and a Master of Biomedical Science, he undertook nephrology training at Alfred Hospital, Royal Melbourne Hospital and Western Health. After completing his training, his passion for medical advocacy led him to Darwin, where he worked closely with remote communities to deliver complex kidney care in resource-limited settings.

Dr. Huang holds public positions at Alfred Health and Western Health as a nephrologist and clinical trialist. He has wide range of expertise in renal conditions with special interests in chronic kidney disease and glomerulonephritis management as well as dialysis and renal transplant patient management.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys swimming and spending time with his family. Rex is fluent in English, Mandarin and Taiwanese.
