Dr. Mehrab E. Hossain is a highly qualified infectious diseases and general medicine physician, known for her compassionate and holistic approach to patient care. She graduated from the University of Melbourne and completed her specialist training at Alfred Health, Canberra Health, Eastern Health, and Grampians Health.
Dr. Hossain currently holds a public position at Grampians Health, where she serves as an infectious diseases physician, general medicine physician, and hospital-in-the-home (HITH) physician. She also has a private practice at Epworth Hospitals in Melbourne.
With extensive experience across multiple states, Dr. Hossain has managed complex infections in diverse patient populations. Her clinical expertise includes, but is not limited to:
Assessment and management of active and latent Tuberculosis
Management of infections in immunocompromised patients
