For Patients

  • Once a referral is received from your General Practitioner or Specialist, it is promptly triaged and one of our administrative staff will be in contact with you to arrange an appointment.

    Alternatively, if you wish to contact our practice directly, our staff will be more than happy to guide you through the booking process.

    When booking the appointment, please inform us of any language or communication barriers so that further assistance can be rendered.

  • Please bring the following to your appointment:

    • Medicare card as well as details of your private health insurance

    • Concessional card

    • List of medications

    • Relevant investigations and test results

  • Please note that full fee payment is expected on the day of appointment. Medicare accounts are lodged online following your consultation and a valid referral as well as Medicare card is required to access these rebates. We accept payment via cash, EFTPOS and credit card.

  • Our doctors are independent practitioners and as such, their fees may vary slightly. Patients will be advised of an approximate cost when booking the appointment. Please feel free to speak to our administrative staff if you would like more details about our fee structure.

    Patients who are unfortunately experiencing financial hardship are encouraged to discuss their circumstances with their referring doctor. Concessional card holders can access discounted rates.

    Please note that private health funds do not cover the cost of outpatient consultations and investigations, unless you do not hold a Medicare card.

  • There is a strict 24 hour cancellation policy in place for all appointments at Epping Specialist Group. If there are extenuating circumstances resulting in your non-attendance please feel free to discuss your concerns with one of our friendly reception staff. Please be aware that there is a no show fee for non-attendance. This has to be paid in full prior to booking any subsequent appointments.

  • When you make an appointment at Epping Specialist Group, you provide consent for our staff members to use your personal information so they can provide you with the best possible care. Your health information, including consultation notes and results of investigations are safely encrypted and stored on a secured remote server.
