Dr. Hedayat (Nima) Pourhadi completed his medical degree in Iran and undertook his specialist training in rheumatology in Melbourne at Northern Hospital and St Vincent’s Hospital.

Dr. Pourhadi approaches patient care with a strong focus on careful clinical reasoning and attention to detail. He has broad clinical expertise across the full spectrum of rheumatological diseases, including inflammatory arthritis, connective tissue diseases, vasculitis, and crystal arthropathies. He has a particular interest in autoinflammatory and complex immune-mediated disorders, as well as the management of patients with multisystem disease.

Dr. Pourhadi values clear communication and shared decision-making, ensuring patients are well informed and actively involved in their care.

Outside of work, Nima enjoys gardening and spending time with his family. He is fluent in English and Farsi.
