Dr. Elle Nguyen grew up in Melbourne and completed her medical degree at Deakin University. She obtained her Fellowship with the Royal College of Physicians after undertaking general neurology training at Royal Melbourne Hospital and Alfred Health. 

Dr. Nguyen then completed 2 years of subspecialty training in Neuro-ophthalmology at The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and Alfred Health where she currently holds consultant public appointments including general neuro-ophthalmology clinics, a multidisciplinary idiopathic intracranial hypertension clinic and an ocular electrophysiology clinic. She is also trained in general neurology and welcomes referrals for a wide variety of neurological conditions. Dr. Nguyen aims to expand her service to patients in Epping and surrounding regions who cannot easily access public or city-based specialists.

Dr. Nguyen is involved in physician trainee education and regularly supervises medical students and training fellows in her practice. She is also currently undertaking a PhD in Myasthenia Gravis with Monash University.

When not working, Dr. Nguyen enjoys travelling, vegetable gardening, learning languages and spending time with her family.
